Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method ren and a device for applying multi-compo resin on porous, to be solidified granular mate materials, in particular bulk materials to be solidified, the if necessary compress later by shaking etc. are. Typical materials of this type are examples assign the ballast beds of railroad tracks additional fine-grained stones on such Ballast beds, but also sand and gravel fillings in road construction, which should be glued together len without losing their water permeability. At Ballast beds for railways are ver stick especially in the transition zones between soft and firm areas according to German patent notification P 39 41 141.9 by the applicant. Furthermore, it can be sensible, especially when cornering the crossbar resistance from railway sleepers on a gravel increase bed according to German patent application P 40 14 529.8 the applicant. Fine-grained fillings such ballast beds are with multi-component har zen glued to increase sound absorption and / or the cleanability of a railroad track according to German patent application P 39 41 142.7 of the applicant derin. Bonding of gravel and sand in road construction while maintaining water permeability and porosity take place, in particular, in order to ensure that the To ensure surface water and thereby reduce traffic noise when it rains.
In all these cases and similar areas of application for the bonding of porous granular materials and Bulk goods with multi-component resins are required Lich, as evenly as possible, a sufficient amount of Apply multi-component resins so that at least in upper area the parts are fully wetted and at least at the points of contact adhesive bridges arise. Excess quantities of the multi-component har zes should each flow down and there cover further material. Under no circumstances should they Cavities are filled as this is the porosity and Permeability of the glued bulk goods to water and other liquids. The Multi-component resins should therefore not be too viscous and if possible not be thixotropic. The bandage reaction should only take place after a sufficient Layer depth of the bulk material with the multi-component resin coated, but not filled to capacity. There multicomponent resins in general very reactive substances involved in processing lead to irritation of the skin and mucous membranes should suppress the formation of spray mist or completely avoided.
When processing in action n or even enclosed spaces should be on top of that be worked solvent-free. This requirement basically exists for processing outdoors, because the solvents evaporating immediately or later to an environmental pollution to be avoided if possible lead. Nevertheless, the application of the multi-compo Resin resins can be carried out quickly, easily and safely be as low as material costs and labor costs possible to keep.
This versatile, difficult and sometimes contradicting Task that appears can be surprisingly simple be solved in that the components spatially separated from one another with relatively high pressure Mixing chamber introduced, turbulent in the mixing chamber mixed together and as a mixture with relatively low according to the print as a flat curtain laminar on the material be applied.
Preferably by selecting the components as well where appropriate, suitable additives ensure that the Viscosity of the mixture increased to 300 to 1000 mPas, however, the surface tension is lowered. These Both properties help that the flat The curtain of the mixture does not open prematurely and there forms with spray mist.
The components and additives should start from the beginning be solvent-free in. Furthermore, the The addition of solvents is avoided if possible will.
To create a flat curtain made of laminar emerging mixture are particularly suitable flat jet nozzles that operate at relatively low pressure. Suitable flat jet nozzles are for example from from Spraying Systems Deutschland GmbH, Hamburg under the names FlatJet® nozzles and FloodJet® Nozzles offered. These flat fan nozzles deliver Use of conventional low-viscosity materials such as Water and aqueous rinse solutions create a flat curtain fine droplets with a substantial amount of spray fog. At first it was not foreseeable that it would be possible Lich, multi-component with such flat jet nozzles So that the resulting curtain does not tear open prematurely and does not form spray mist. Especially when the mixture emerges from the Nozzle only a pressure between 2 and 6 bar (prefer 3.5 to 5 bar) is present, a lami is formed nar flowing, flat curtain of the mixture. This Curtain generally remains at least 10, mostly 20 cm closed and only then disintegrates shine and finally in relatively large drops, each but never in the spray to be avoided.
The individual components of the multi-component resins must as possible before discharge from the flat jet nozzle are mixed quickly and as intensively as possible, whereby the amount of the mixture produced is so small is to be kept as possible to avoid material losses at Ar keep work interruptions as low as possible. The components must therefore according to the invention in the Mixing chamber can be mixed turbulently. Be Static mixers have proven particularly successful. these are relatively short tubes, the one behind the other rotating and have a clockwise spiral and thereby a turbulent flow and perfect mixing of the Ensure components.
The supply lines for the individual components to the sta According to the invention, tikmischer must be of relatively high To stand pressure. Pressures between 30 and 200 bar (preferably 50 to 150 bar). This relative high pressure becomes so strong inside the static mixer degraded that the finished mixture only under one Residual pressure of 2 to 6 bar into the flat jet nozzle occurs.
The residence times of the multi-component resins in the mix chamber or the static mixer are much shorter than the so-called pot lives of the finished mixtures. The one applied to the bulk goods according to the invention Mixture thus maintains its relatively low viscosity long enough to spread and wet through one enough thick layer of bulk material to pass through fen.
The components of the Mehrkom component resins in the piping to the mixing chamber come into contact with each other or even in the feeder lines react. It is therefore advisable each of the separate supply lines for the components secured by check valves. Furthermore it is extremely useful, each of these feed lines connections separately with a compressed air line the one that is secured by check valves is. If a component fails or if it is intended ter or unintentional interruption of the supply one component, the compressed air ensures a drain supply line into the mixing chamber and from there to the flat jet nozzle. There occurs after a short time Time a flat curtain of a liquid / air mixture what looks both visually and acoustically immediately can be noticed and interrupt the whole Processing should lead.
Even in the event of an intended interruption or termination of the processing process are by the compressed air the pipes and the mixing chamber cleaned. A further cleaning with solvents is generally no longer necessary.
Ein weiterer Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfin dung ist die Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfah rens bestehend ausThe present invention thus relates to next, the process according to the above process claims chen. Another subject of the present inven is the device for performing the procedure rens consisting of

In the simplest case, the device consists of the separate feed lines for those under relatively high Pressure components, a mixing chamber and egg ner flat jet nozzle for relatively low pressure. Before preferably the device has separate compressed air lines lines in the supply lines for the components flow out. The supply lines for the are expedient Components and the compressed air lines each through Check valves secured so that an unintended penetration of one or all components into another re parts of the device as the mixing chamber and the Flat jet nozzle is avoided.
The device is when using static mixers relatively simple, light and therefore easy to handle manually bar. The feed to the device is preferred wise about flexible hoses. With a two-component Resin is therefore sufficient for two hoses for the components and a hose for the compressed air.
