Abstract

A label for providing books with signatures, reserving details etc. has a base paper with a coating of adhesive on the back; the paper is impervious to plasticisers and the adhesive used is free from plasticiser. Als Weichmacherbremse kommen geeignete Beschichtungsmaterialien, wie Silikon massen oder Kunststoffdispersionen, vorzugsweise Acryl kunststoffdispersionen in Frage, wie z.B. von der Fa. 3 M unter der Bezeichnung "Scotchban" vertrieben oder nach der DE-OS 32 02 093. Bevorzugte Weiterbildungen sehen vor, daß die Weichmachersperre in der Papiermasse eingebracht ist, diese also unprägniert ist, und/oder daß die Weichmacher sperre als ein- oder beidseitige Beschichtung auf dem Papier aufgebracht ist, also das Papier auch im Strich entsprechend veredelt ist. Weiterhin kann auf der Vor derseite des Etikettenpapiers 3, gegebenenfalls auf dem flächigen Farbaufdruck 14 in der schon beschriebenen Wei se der Informationsaufdruck 4 aufgebracht sein. Das Etikett durchläuft dann mit Buch und Begleitzettel alle erforderlichen Stellen der Bibliothek, ohne daß es ver lorengehen kann, bis es zur Beschriftungsstelle gelangt. Dort wird dann das Etikett (Etikettenpapier 3a) von dem Zwischenträgerpapier 12 gelöst und endgültig im oder am Buch aufgebracht.
