Bei Drehkolbenmaschinen, bei denen die Leistung durch Verstellen der Entfernung der Achsen von Kolbentrommel und Zylinder verändert werden kann, wurden bisher Ein- und Auslaß des Treib- oder Fördermittels quer zur Verstellrichtung angeordnet. Die vorliegende Erfindung beruht darauf, daß sowohl der Ein- als auch der Auslaß nahe der Stelle der kleinsten Kolbenfläche angeordnet ist, und zwar derart, daß diese angenähert tangential zur Laufrichtung der Kolben münden. Der tangenti;ale Anschluß bei unveränderlichen Drehkolbenmaschinen ist zwar bekannt, nicht dagegen bei solchen mit veränderlicher Leistung, und gerade hierbei bietet diese Anordnung gegenüber dei Queranordnung wesentliche Vorteile, da bei diesen Maschinen bei größeren Verstellungen recht beträchtliche Geschwindigkeiten auftreten können, wodurch ein glatter Durchfluß mit möglichst geringen Richtungswechseln erforderlich ist, und auch durch die Verstellung keine Änderung in den Durchflußrichtungen und den Widerständen eintreten darf.Arrangement of the inlet and outlet openings in rotary piston machines with variable performance by changing the eccentricity.
