Description

The invention relates to an armored glass pane according to the preamble of claim 1.

In DE-PS 36 39 781 is an armored passenger car in which an attempt is made to bevel the Tempered glass pane on the circumference the optical recognizability of the ge armored vehicle, despite the thickness of the bulletproof glass used to reduce disks. Because of this oblique trailing edge achieved that the window surface to the outside of the vehicle from Size of a window surface of an unarmored series vehicle corresponds, but from the outside the wide disc remains leading edge visible, which indicate a particularly thick disc leaves.

In DE-PS 32 32 781 one is formed from two glass panes Insulating glass pane for side windows of passenger trains with overlap shown outer disc layer. This gradation serves with both the inner pane and the outer pane Keep adhesive layers on the window frame. A determination of The pane only on the inner pane layer is not featured see.

The US-PS 33 75 626 shows one formed from two glass panes Windshield, the outer glass layer of which faces a  internal glass layer recedes, whereby only the inner layer of glass is set in a frame.

The invention has for its object in armored Kraftwa to make it difficult to recognize the thick bulletproof glass panes.

The task is characterized by the characterizing features of the claim solved.

By a superior to the inner layers of glass The end edge of the outer glass layer becomes a viewer of the vehicle from the actual end edge of the wider, internal layers of glass glued into the pane frame are distracted. A windshield with a protruding, outer layer of glass that goes up under a hood view edge can be pulled down, gives the impression that this Windshield ends under the hood. The one above a dashboard ending in the vehicle interior inner layers of glass are not noticeable. Because only that internal glass layers for fixing the bulletproof glass are used in the window frame, the dimensions of the Projection largely arbitrary, according to the requirements on Vehicle are trained.

The subjects of further claims form advantageous features design possibilities of this object.

In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is Darge poses.

Es zeigtIt shows

Fig. 1 eine perspektivische Ansicht eines Kraftwagens, und Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a motor vehicle, and

FIG. 2 shows a section in the lower section of a windshield along line II-II in FIG. 1.

In Fig. 1, a motor car is shown, which is equipped to protect the vehicle occupants from violent attack on the vehicle and the vehicle occupant with armored glass panes 1.

A bulletproof glass pane 1 consists of several individual glass panes 2 , which are connected to each other to form a unit, and therefore has a large thickness, but this is only visible in the peripheral edges for a viewer who sees the vehicle from the outside contrast with the transparent glass surface as a darker edge strip. This impression is prevented by a windshield 10 formed by means of an armored glass pane 1 , which, as shown in FIG. 2, has an outer glass layer 3 which, compared to the more inner glass layers 4, ends with a projection 5 which extends to below a visible edge 11 of a bonnet 12 of the vehicle is extended. In this case, the bulletproof glass pane 1 is fixed by an adhesive layer 9 only with inner glass layers 4 in a pane frame 8 which fixes the bulletproof glass pane 1 to a vehicle body 7 . This windshield 10 thus looks as if it would extend below the bonnet 12 , the end edges 13 of the inner glass layers 4 , which end above an instrument panel (not shown) in the vehicle, not noticeable to the viewer as such. However, it is also possible to darken this preferred pane section 14 of the outer glass layer 3 by a coloring 15 , which is here formed by a pane in the connecting compound 16 of the two outer glass panes 2 with inlaid dark-colored color carrier, so that the windshield 10 in this lower one Window section 14 is considered rather than belonging to the vehicle body 7 . Such a protruding pane section 14 is additionally supported by a glued insert 17 on the body 7 .
