Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Umschaltstecker für Schaltungsvorrichtungen von Widerständen in Heizkissen oder ähnlichen elektrischen Wärmvorrichtungen, die zum Anschluß an Stromquellen verschiedener Spannung bei gleichbleibendem Wattverbrauch, also auch gleicher Wärmeabgabe geeignet sind. Das Wesen der Erfindung liegt darin, daß zwei Schalterteile, von denen der ίο eine zwei Gruppen Steckerstifte oder -hülsen und der andere die zugehörigen Steckerhülsen oder -stifte besitzt, derart, miteinander gekuppelt sind, daß sich die beiden Teile ohne vollständige Lösung voneinander bis zur Unterbrechung des Stromes 'trennen und ge- is gerxeinaiider um etwa i8o° drehen lassen, um ein sofortiges Wiederzusammenstecken auf a'ndere Schaltung zu ermöglichen. Der Strom, der von den drei Leitungen des Wärmeregulators, der hier als nicht zur Erfindung gehörig weggelassen ist, kommt, geht bei Parallelschaltung (110 Volt, Abb. 1) von Stift 2 über die Hülse 21, einmal über die Widerstände a und c, Hülse 31, Stift 3 nach Leitung drei, das andere Mal über den Widerstand b, Hülse 41, Stift 4 nach Stift 5, Hülse 51 über Widerstand d nach Hülse 31, Stift 3 zur Leitung drei. Um den Stecker auf Hintereinanderschaltung (220 Volt) umzustellen, hat man nur den Schalterteil S aus dem Schalterteil D herauszuziehen, um i8o° zu drehen und wieder hineinzustecken. Der Stromverbrauch ist dann, wie auf Abb. 2 dargestellt ist, folgender: Von Stift 2 über Hülse 51 zu den hintereinanderliegenden Widerständen d, c, a, b nach Hülse 41 und Leitung drei;. Die Schraube F dient als Lager für eine Druckfeder und zur Begrenzung der Trennung der Schalterteile S und D sowie als Achse für die beiden trenn- und gegeneinander verdreh,-baren Teile. Um den Heizkörper für die gewünschte Spannung einzustellen, hat man nur nötig, den Stecker mit der Schaltdose so zu verbinden, daß ein auf letzterer eingravierter Pfeil auf die auf dem Stecker angegebene Zahl 110 oder 220 eingestellt ist.
