Abstract

The impression spoon for use in dentistry has rigid oral and vestibular portions, and a biting plate (4), the latter being of ductile material, typically plastics and with a memory characteristic. There can be a groove (10) in the vestibular portion (2) to accommodate the edge (8) of the plate, and also one in the oral portion for the other edge.
