Description

Drehrohrofen zum Brennen von Zement u. dgl. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung bei Drehrohröfen zum Brennen von Zement u. dgl., welche an den Ofenwandungen in der Vorwärmungszone messerartige Vorsprünge haben, die während der Drehung mitlaufende -Schneiden bilden. Das Kennzeichnende dieser Vorrichtung liegt darin, daB diese Schneiden oder Vorsprünge, deren keilförmige Kante in bekannter Weise in der Drehrichtung des Ofens nach vorn gelegen ist, als prismatische Stege ausgebildet sind, die am Rücken eine längs des Stegs verlaufende Rille besitzen. Hierdurch wird erreicht, daß während der Drehung des Ofens ein freier Raum bzw. ein Durchgangskanal hinter den Vorsprüngen entsteht, welcher den in der Zementmasse gebildeten Gasen gestattet, aus der Zementmasse längs der Hinterseite der ein wenig aus der Zementmasse hervorragenden Vorsprünge zu entweichen. Diese Vorsprünge können aus beliebigem feuerfesten Stoff, z. E.
