Verfahren zur Herstellung von Thiosulfaten aromatischer Amine. Es wurde gefunden, daß durch Umsetzung der wasserlöslichen Salze aromatischer Monamine mit Lösungen von Alkalithiosulfaten gut kristallisierende und verhältnismäßig haltbare Thiosulfate der aromatischen Amine gewonnen werden können. Als einziges Thiosulfat eines aromatischen Amins ist bis jetzt dasjenige des p-Plienylendiamin5 beschrieben. Es ist eine äußerst schwerlösliche Verbindung, die sich durch sofortige Ausscheidung aus der Lösung, in der sie entsteht, der an sich zu erwartenden Zersetzung entzieht. Aus der Bildungsmöglichkeit dieses Salzes konnte man daher auf die Herstellbarkeit von weniger schwerlöslichen Salzen der Thioschwefelsäure mit - den noch schwächer basischen aromatischen Monaminen keine Schlüsse ziehen; diese bleibt vielmehr angesichts der großen Zersetzlichkeit der freien Thioschwefelsäure und der stark sauren Reaktion der Aminsalze eine überraschende Tatsache.Process for the preparation of thiosulfates of aromatic amines.
