In der Patentschrift 396687 ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Explosivstoffen beschrieben, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man sog. Halbkoks beimischt. Es wurden dabei speziell die durch Verschwelung .der Braunkohle erhaltenen Halbkoks erwähnt. Es hat sich nun gezeigt, daß auch Halbkoks aus Steinkohle, Torf, Ülschiefer und ähnlichen Brennmaterialien, wie man solche bei der sog. Urverkokung besonders in Drehöfen erhält, sich gut als Beimischung für Explosivstoffe verwenden lassen.Process for the manufacture of explosives. Addition patent 396687.
