Die Erfindung betrifft einen Sarg aus Gußmasse, insbesondere Steinholz o. dgl., und bestehtdarin, daß je zwei an den beiden Längswänden des Sargunfierteil'es sich quer gegenüberstehende Handgriffe an die Enden je eines Zugbandes angeschlossen sind, das schräg durch die ,Seitenwände und von diesen aus frei durch die inneren Ecken des Unterteiles und ferner durch den Sargboden bis zu dessen Unterseite hindurchgeführt ist, so daß es außen nur auf der Mitte des Bodens entlangläuft.Coffin. Zickzackförmige Bänder e, die in die Seitenflächen feingefügt sind und schräg nach oben und unten verlaufen, sind mit den Bändern b verbunden. Sie ergeben eine Verstärkung der -Seitenflächen f. In allen Ecken des Sarges sind Drahtgewebe g o: dgl. in bekannter Weise eingefügt.
