Kettenwirkmaschine.
daß die Nadeln beim Arbeiten in der Maschine einen kürzeren Weg zurückzulegen brauchen;
Warp knitting machine. The warp knitting machine forming the subject of the invention
for fine division differs from known ones that serve the same purpose
Machines in that the needle working in the machine is not a resilient, flexible one
Has a point, but that, reaching over the needle point from the front, a special one
Needle i, as a stitch lifter separate from the knitting needle, for the purpose of lifting the
Stitch handle is arranged over the needle point. This has the advantage of
that the needles have to travel a shorter distance when working in the machine;
because the stitch lifter comes towards them, so that faster work is possible
will.
Hierbei sind also gewissermaßen
Spitze fehlt.Well-known needles without flexible tips are only used for the otherwise common ones
To make the needle tongue superfluous, and for this purpose a second shaft is used,
which can be moved on or with the knitting needle shaft. So here are in a sense
the needles from two belonging together and also movable together in the same direction
Parts assembled. The point needles in such a way in warp knitting machines
to
to replace would be pointless; because it surrenders opposite
there is no advantage to pressing, and the known needles mentioned above cannot be used
fine enough to run them as a replacement for point needles in warp knitting machines
to be able to use for fine graduation. The new warp knitting machine for fine division
works with needles consisting of a hook needle with a missing point and a
completely separate stitch lifter exist, the former when working the
the latter meets, so that the hook needle, as already mentioned, a shorter one
Way and can therefore work faster like all known needles. Since the
Working parts separately, they can be of the greatest delicacy, and of the following
the knitting needle moving towards it also replaces the press at the same time. Even
the inconvenience of breaking off the tip is eliminated because this fine bendable one
Tip is missing.
in Abb. i allein mit eingelegtem Faden dargestellt. The drawing shows the needle working in the warp knitting machine
in Fig. i shown alone with inserted thread.
aufnimmt.Fig. 2 shows how the thread lifter moves towards the knitting needle,
includes the inserted thread and the loop hanging on the needle
records.
Fig.3 shows the hook needles and the stitch lifter going backwards. As already pointed out at the beginning, the hook needle a does not have a flexible point. As a result, the press in the knitting machine is no longer necessary. A loop lifter b is arranged for this, which moves to the hook needle a, grips over the hook e of the needle a in order to enclose the inserted thread f and to take up the loop g, as shown in Fig. 2. So that the loop c is also securely grasped, the hook needle a has a trough-shaped recess h, in which the stitch lifter b comes to rest with its pointed end and thus securely penetrates into the loop g on top of it. Once this has happened, the hook needle a moves back in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 3), and the loop g remains on the loop lifter b to finally come out of the needle hook e. Then the loop lifter b moves back again and lets the loop handle g fall so that it forms the loop with the inserted thread.
