Description
Gekühlter Kolben für Verbrennungskraftmaschinen. Die Erfindung betrifft einen aus einem selbständigen Kolbenringträger und einem selbständigen Kolbenboden zusammengesetzten Kolben für 'Verbrenrnungsknaftmaschinen und hat die Kühlung eines derartigen Kolbens zum Gegenstand. Gegenüber bekannten Ausführungen mit Kühlmittelräumen im Kolbenringträger und Kolbenboden besteht die Erfindung darin, daß das Kühlmittel in bestimmter Weise durch den Kolben hindurchgeführt wird, derart, daß es in ungehindertem. Fluß zunächst durch den Kolbenringträger hindurchgeht, dann in den Kolbenboden übertritt und von diesem in eine mittlere Höhlung des Kolbenringträgers zurückkehrt, die an die Kühlmittelableitung angeschlossen ist. Die Verbindung beider untereinander und mit der Kolbenstange c geschieht durch gemeinsame Schrauben d. Die Hohlräume e bzw. f des Kolbenringträgers a und des Kolbenbodens b dienen- als Kühlkammern. Die Zuleitung des Kühlmittels erfolgt in bekannter Weise durch die hohle Kolbenstange, der Übertritt in die Kühlkammer e durch einen Kanal g. - Die Kühlkammer e steht mit der Kühlkammer f wiederum durch einen Kanal 1a in Verbindung, so daß das Kühlmittel von dem Kolbenringträger a nach dem Kolbenboden b übertreten und von diesem durch einen Hohlraum i des Kolbenringträgers und das Innenrohr j der Kolbenstange abfließen kann.In the drawing, the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment in section.
