Abstract

To monitor the exact moment, when the mould of a plastic injection moulding machine is completely filled, a distance sensor (1) is attached to one half of the mould (6). An angle (2) is fixed across the parting joint (8) on the other half to act as a reference plane. The sensor readings are passed to an electronic unit (5) which displays the measured value (3). A set distance (in mu) is set by a setting unit (4) and as soon as the reading exceeds this value (due to the mould being full) the power to the extruder (9) is cut off by the unit (7). ADVANTAGE - This ensures that the mould is neither under-nor over-filled and produces mouldings of uniform quality.

Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Zubehör für Spritzgußmaschi­ nen. Dies können Kunststoffspritzgußmaschinen sein oder auch andere. Bei Spritzgußmaschinen wird zähflüssiges Material in eine vorgegebene Form (6) eingepreßt. Hierbei besteht das Problem, die Form (6) voll auszupressen. Es darf keine Unterfüllung aber auch keine Überfüllung eintreten. Die Regelung dieses Vorgangs erfolgt bisher über druck- und zeitabhängige Steuerungen, da die zu pres­ senden Massen jedoch unterschiedlichste Eigenschaften haben und auch während des Druckvorgangs oft unvorhersehbare Umstände im Fließverhalten auftreten, ist es nach wie vor ein Problem, höhere Genauigkeiten bei den Spritzgußteilen zu erreichen bzw. eine geringe Ausschußquote zu erzielen.The invention relates to an accessory for injection molding machines.
