Der Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Klemme für Freileitungen, bei der die Befestigung der zu verbindenden Leitungen durch exzentrisch wirkende Hebel bewirkt wird. Es sind zwar bereits Klemmen bekannt, bei denen die Drähte durch Niederklappen eines Hebels festgeklemmt werden. Diese Klemmen, eignen sich aber nur für Abzweigdosen o. dgl., wo es hauptsächlich auf die Erzielung eines guten elektrischen Kontaktes ankommt. Zur Verbindung von Freileitungen sind sie dagegen nicht geeignet, da sie die in den1 Leitungen auftretende Zugspannung nicht aufzunehmen vermögen.
