Abstract

The corkscrew is composed of the body (1), of the securing means (2), of two small corkscrews (3, 4), of a winged handle (9), of a threaded spindle (10) and of a plastic insert (11) for the bottle neck. Corkscrews (3, 4) are composed of a spiral shaft (5), of an attachment piece (6) for guidance and of a thread (7) of the head piece (22). The stop (8) prevents the corkscrews (3, 4) from being screwed in too far. The threaded spindle (10) can be screwed up or down by means of the winged handle (9). The plastic insert (11) is retained by the groove (12). By virtue of the arrangement of the corkscrews (3, 4), a relatively loose cork (14) cannot be pressed into the bottle. The safety screw (18) prevents the winged handle (9) from being unscrewed. The thread (19) for the threaded spindle (10) serves for fastening the securing means (2). They thus form a fixed unit. The corkscrews (3, 4) fit accurately through the bores (20, 21) of the securing means (2) and can be screwed into the cork (14) as far as the stop (8). The two headpieces (22) with thread (23) can be screwed on. The legs (16, 17) fit into the milled reliefs (24, 25) of the securing means (2), rotation of the securing means (2) is not possible. Description

The invention relates to a corkscrew consisting of a wing handle ( 9 ) and a threaded spindle ( 10 ) which can be screwed into a holder ( 2 ) provided for the two small corkscrews ( 3, 4 ) with two bores ( 20, 21 ) are and is guided and held by the cork body ( 1 ).

The two small corkscrews ( 3, 4 ) are inserted through the two holes ( 20, 21 ) in the holder ( 2 ) and screwed into the cork ( 14 ).

The arrangement of the two small corkscrews ( 3, 4 ) means that a relatively loose cork cannot be pressed into the bottle, since a lateral pressure is exerted towards the bottle neck ( 13 ).

The two corkscrews ( 3, 4 ) can be divided into two parts:

• 1. spiral shaft ( 5 ) with extension ( 6 ) and threaded piece ( 7 ) are made from one part, the extension ( 6 ) rotates and is seen with a stop ( 8 ) for the bracket ( 2 ) before. This prevents the two small corkscrews ( 3, 4 ) from turning further into the cork.
• 2. A screw-on head piece ( 22 ), which can be made of valuable or simple material, with an internal thread ( 23 ) for the helical shaft ( 5 ) with an attachment piece ( 6 ).

The corkscrew body ( 1 ) consists of one piece with a bore ( 26 ) for the spindle ( 10 ), two legs ( 16, 17 ) leading downwards and a round adapter ( 15 ) for the bottle diameter of different bottles.

In the round adapter ( 15 ), where the bottle opening fits in, an intermediate piece made of plastic is inserted to protect the bottle opening when the bottle is pressed, the upper edge of the flanges.

The plastic insert ( 11 ) is held by a groove ( 12 ) in the round adapter ( 15 ) by gluing. The holder ( 2 ) for the two small corkscrews ( 3, 4 ) sits between the legs ( 16, 17 ) of the cork body ( 1 ) that run downwards.

The holder ( 2 ) has two cutouts ( 24, 25 ) which are exactly opposite each other and serve as a guide for the two legs ( 16, 17 ). In the middle of the holder ( 2 ) there is a thread ( 19 ) for the threaded spindle ( 10 ). The threaded spindle ( 10 ) was turned thinner to a certain length and provided with a threaded attachment ( 19 ) which is used for screwing into the holder ( 2 ). The threaded spindle ( 10 ) screwed together with the holder ( 2 ) forms a fixed unit. The wing handle ( 9 ) can adjust the two firmly connected parts of the threaded spindle ( 10 ) and bracket ( 2 ) by turning it up or down. The threaded spindle ( 10 ) is secured upwards by a screw ( 18 ), so that the wing handle ( 9 ) cannot fall out.

Operation of the corkscrew:

Turn the bracket ( 2 ) with the threaded spindle ( 10 ) through the wing handle ( 9 ) down until the bracket ( 2 ) sits on the cork. Insert the two small corkscrews ( 3, 4 ) through the two holes in the holder ( 2 ) and screw them into the cork as far as it will go ( 8 ). Turn the wing handle ( 9 ) upwards so that the cork is lifted out slightly.

Claims (4)

1. corkscrew consisting of the body ( 1 ), a wing handle ( 9 ), a threaded spindle ( 10 ), characterized in that the two small corkscrews ( 3, 4 ) for the holder ( 2 ) are provided as a drawing tool.
The locking screw ( 18 ) is provided for the wing handle ( 9 ) and the plastic insert ( 11 ) for protecting the bottle opening. 2. By obliquely pushing the holder ( 1 ) into the body ( 1 ), characterized in that the two legs ( 16, 17 ) and the cutouts ( 24, 25 ) of the holder ( 2 ) fit exactly into one another. It is no longer possible to turn the bracket ( 2 ). 3. The bracket ( 2 ) and the threaded spindle ( 10 ) are firmly screwed together, characterized in that both parts form a fixed unit.
With the wing handle ( 9 ) you can turn the two fixed parts down or up. 4. holder ( 2 ) has two bores ( 20, 21 ), characterized in that the two bores ( 20, 21 ) are provided for the two small corkscrews ( 3, 4 ).
Both small corkscrews ( 3, 4 ) fit through the holder ( 2 ) and can be turned past each other at a certain angle up to the stop ( 8 ) in the cork.
