Verfahren der Beheizung von Koksöfen mittels eines Gemisches von Starkgas
und Rauchgas. -#Ian hat vorgeschlagen, durch den garen Koks der Koksöfen einen Teil
der Batterierauchgase hindurchzuleiten und die von den Rauchgasen - aus dein Koks
aufgenommene Wärme dadurch auszunutzen, daB man die h( ißen Rauchgase mit den Heizgasen
mischt, (l:c Rauchgase also gleichsam zur Vorwärinunä der Heizgase verwendet. Demgegeniil)cr
soll gemäß der Erfindung als Batteriehei7gas ein Gemisch von Starkgas und Raucha@
dienen, welches bei oder nach dem Mischen über den gedrückten glühenden Koks gclcitet
und dabei auf eine Temperatur über 8oo° C, etwa auf goo° C, :gebracht wird. Infoi;-e
einer derartigen Erhitzung des Rauchüber glühenden Koks findet eine Regeneration
des Rauchgases durch Reduktion seiner Kohlensäure und eine teilweise Umsetzung des
Wasserdampfes zu I@ohlenoxyd, Kohlendioxyd und Wasserstoff statt. Als Rauchgase

das regenerierte Gasgemisch hatte die folgende Zusammensetzung: an brennbaren Bestandteilen
ro Prozent CO, 3o Prozent H2, 12,5 Prozent CH, und an nichtbrennbaren Bestandteilen
2,4 Prozent CO; und 45,z Prozent N2. Ein derartig zusammengesetztes Gas - benötigt
zur Verbrennung j e z cbm Gas a,14 cbin Luft, und z cbm Heizgas besteht nach .der
Verbrennung aus: o,:249 cbm C02, o,55 cbm H20 und 2,r4 cbm N2 - 2,94 cbm Rauchgas
und unter der Annahme einer Verbrennung mit 40 Prozent LuftüberschuB benötigt r
cbm Heizgas rund 3 cbm Verbrennungsluft. Zum Verkoken von z t Kohle werden unter
Zugrundelegung einer spezifischen Wärme der Luft von 0,33 und des Mischgases
von 0,37 etwa 22o cbm Mischgas von
2 r 3o W. E. benötigt, welche also aus 147 cbm
Rauchgas und ; ; cbin Destillationsgase be-
stehen. Da i t Kohle im Durchschnitt
mindestens 27o eben Destillationsgas liefert,
ergibt die Beheizungsweise also einen
i'"l;erschuß all Destillationsgas voll rund
5 Prozent, während pro Tonne Kohle all
13estillationsgas voll d 150 W. E. als Heizgas,
gleichfalls unter der Annahme eines 4oprozen-
tiren Luftüberschusses und einer Luftvorwär-
mung gleichfalls auf oc)o=, etwa 126 cbili

an Destillationsgas voll rund 25 Prozent.

die so herabgekülilten Rauchgase in Koks-

Destillationsgas wieder ztt erhitzen und zu
regererieren und die Abhitze des übrigen
Teils der Rauchgase zu beliebigen anderen
Z@@-ecken zu Verwenden.
Da i cbin Rauchgas der oben angegebenen
Zusammensetzung unter der Annahme eines
.loprnzentigen 1,tlftüberscllusses 3 cbm Ver-
brennungsluftbenötigt, so entstehen aus i cbtn
Mischgas 3,8 c1)111 Rauchgas, Von welchem
1)r(- . Tonne eingesetzter Kohle 279 eben mit
einem Wärmeinhalt voll 93 000 W. E. verfüg-
bar sind. Ein derartiger Betrieb ergibt also
sehr wesentliche wärmewirtschaftliche Er-
sparnisse.
Die Zeichnung Veranschaulicht eine zur
Durchführung (los neuen Verfahrens geeignete
Anlage.
Vor den I,#okskaniniern !, sind unterhalb
(los Koksplatzes p Kokslöschkammerli a ange-
ordnet, in welche der glühende Koks gedrückt
wird. Diese Löschkammern sind unten mit
Gasanschluß und Verteilungsleitungen t ver-
sehen; oben führt voll einer jerlen Lösch-
kammer eine Anschlußleitung ic zti einer Sani-
nielleitung v, und voll dieser gehest Abzweig-
leitungen über eine Umstellvorrichtung x zu
den einzelnen Sohlkanälen o der Batterie.
Diese Leitungen liegen in einem zwischen der
Batterie und den Löschkammern a freigelassenen Bedienungsgang y, in welchem auch
