Der Gegenstand der Erfindung betrifft eine Mehrfachschmelzsicherung. Zur Einschaltung der Schmelzdrähte in ihre betreffende Kontaktstellung ist gemäß der Erfindung nur die oberste Trommel drehbar, während die darunterliegenden Trommeln unverdrehbar im umschließenden Gehäuse stehenbleiben. Um die Abnahme und das Auswechseln der einzelnen Trommeln aus ihrer Führung einfach zu gestalten, sind diese zweckmäßig mit Schlitzen oder Aussparungen versehen. Dadurch braucht beispielsweise beim Auswechseln einer Trommel nur der Gehäusedeckel ein der Höhe derselben entsprechendes Stück nach oben geschoben werden; die Trommel läßt sich dann bequem seitlich abnehmen.In contrast to these embodiments, according to the invention, the individual fusible wires are embedded in radial bores or transverse channels of a full, disk-shaped or drum-shaped insulating body.
