Elektromagnetischer Trommelscheiden mit mehreren von einer Hauptspule
erregten Magnetfeldern.
gemeinsame Erregung mehrerer Felder.Electromagnetic drum sheaths with several of one main coil
excited magnetic fields. In the case of magnetic drum separators with several axially adjacent,
fields extending over part of the circumference of the drum.
previously these fields were excited by several magnetic coils. The well-known beneficial
Magnetic parallel application of several fields, as they are, for. B, by patent 336766 for
Roll separator 'was introduced, has not yet been used in drum separators
been. The unfavorable space conditions within the drum and the adjacent ones
Fields presented great difficulties in using parallel excitation for this. Namely
the scatter losses for drum separators forbade the electrically more advantageous
common excitation of several fields.
In the previous statements, the above mentioned Scheider = were for
each field requires a certain number of ampere-turns, so that with the same magnetic strength
of each field, corresponding to the number of fields, a fourfold of ampere-turns
became necessary. But if, according to the invention, all fields are magnetically parallel,
no more ampere-turns are required for this than for a field. It kicks
So with the new drum separator a great saving compared to the previously known
Drum separators on, or with the same diameter and the same electrical energy consumption
a higher field strength is generated.
