Abstract

A pressure activatable correcting tape having a conventional carrier has a lift off layer for removing typed or printed images contg. (a) 5-3 wt.% of butyl rubber (pref. a copolymer of 95-99% isobutylene and 1-5% butadiene or isoprene and opt. partly replaced by tackiness-imparting and/or adhesion-improving agents); (b) 30-90 wt.% of wax; (c) 0.1-5 wt.% of a dispersant having a dispersing action for (a) and (b) in an aq. medium; and opt. (d) other additives.
