Abstract

The clock mechanism has an electronic motor (15) for driving the seconds and minutes wheels (18,20) and a second electric stepping motor (24) for driving the hours wheel (21), to allow separation correction of the indicated hours without altering the momentary position of the seconds and minutes hands. A reflection light barrier (28) cooperates with the hours wheel (21) to detect its actual position, with a second light barrier cooperating with both the seconds and minutes wheels (18,20). The operation of both motors (15,24) and both light barriers (28,33) are synchronised.
