Description

Vorrichtung zum Anzeigen von Gasen bzw. schlagenden Wettern mittels vorgeheizter katalytischer Körper. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Anzeigen von schlagenden Wettern mittels eines vorgeheizten, katalytischen Körpers, bei welcher der letztere unter Zwischenschaltung einer Dosenmernbran auf einen Umschalter wirkt, der entweder den Stromkreis mit dem Heizwiderstand des katalytischen Körpers oder den Stromkreis mit dem akustischen und optischen Signal einschaltet. In der Zeichnung ist die Schlagwetteranzeigevorrichtung dargestellt. In derselben speist eine Akkumulatorenbatterie A von 6Volt, 2oAmperestunden einen Widerstand aus Nikelindraht R von 6 Ohrn. Dieser WiderstandR dient als ein Heizkörper für einen katalytischen KörperH, bestehend aus einer Asbestplatte, die mit Platinehlorid getränkt ist und zu Platinasbestschwamm reduziert wurde. . Der katalytische KörperH wird dauernd durch den HeizkörperR erwärmt. Für eine automatische Regulierung der Vorwärmung und für ein optisches sowie akustisches Signal dient eine Kupferdose mit einer WellblechmembranD, an deren Membran ein Umschalthebel U sitzt, der hiervon isolierte Kontakte I und II schließt und öffnet. Wird der vorgewärmte katalytische Körper H durch ein Drahtnetz F einströniende Grubengase beeinflußt, so wird die Wärme im katalyeischen Körper bis zur dunkelroten Glut gesteigert. Zur Verhinderu-ng der weiteren Glutsteigerung ist der katalytische KörperH in einem doppelten feinen SiebnetzS eingebettet, durch welches eine starke Abkühlung der Gase herbeigeführt wird, so daß eine Zerstörung des katalytischen Körpers H nicht erfolgen kann. 1.-ler kataly-tische Körper H in seinem Schutzsiebnetz S ist an einer Kupferdose D, die vorn die Membran hat, an der Rückwand befestigt, und zwar derart, daß die erzeugende Wärme die in der DoseD eingeschlossene Luft ausdehnt, wodurch die Membran dieser DoseD vorgerückt wird und diese den Umschalthebel U von dein 'Vorwärmekontakt K, al-,bebt unter Ausschaltung des Heizkörpers R. An dessen Stelle wird der Kontakt K, des optischen und akustischen Signals L und S sc. lange geschlossen, als die Gase den katalytischen Körper H in einer bestimmten Temperaturhöhe erhalten. Werden die Grubengase so schwach, daß ihr Einfluß auf den katalytischen Körper H Null ist, so zieht sich die abgekühlte Luft in der verschlossenen DoseD zusammen, und die Membran zieht den Umschalthebel U von dem Signalkontakt K, des Signalstromkreises A, D, U, K, S, L, Sch, A zurück auf den Kontakt K, des Vorwärmerstromkreises A, D, U, K, R, Sch, A für den katalytischen Körper H. Somit ist der Gasinelder für eine weitere Gasausströmung wieder - selbsttätig vorbereitet.
