Description
Verbrennungseinrichtung für chemische Analyse, z. B. für Kohlenwasserstoff-und Stickstoffuntersuchungen. Die vorliegende elektrische Verbrennungseinrichtung dient zur chemischen Analyse besonders für Kohlen- und Stickstoituntersuchungen und besteht aus einem Verbrennungsschiffchen von besonderer Form, das in einem Halter sich befindet und mit diesem in das schon vorbereitete Glasrohr eingeführt werden kann. Der Halter ist in. Abb. i und 2 dargestellt. Er besteht aus einem Kupferrohr A von 6 big 8 mm äußeren Durchmesser, i bis 2 min Stärke und 3oo bis ..l-00 min Länge, in das ein Silberdraht B, welcher durch Asbest oder Glimmer a isoliert ist, eingeführt ist. An dem Silberdraht befindet sich ein Griff oder eine Spitze b. An das Röhr A ist eine oxydierte 12 bis 15 cm lange Kupferdrahtspirale S angebracht. Das Rohr A endet in einem io bis 12 cm langen Bajonett C, dessen Form aus Abb. i und 3 zu ersehen ist, und weist an seinem Ende einen Griff oder eine Spitze c auf. Die beiden Griffe b, c bestehen aus Platin. Sowohl das Kupferrohr .1 wie auch der Silberdraht B enden in einem Porzellanstück D, wo die beiden voneinander isoliert sind, aber in elektrische Verbindung finit den beiden Drahtklemmen d, d' stehen. Das Schiffchen, welches die zu analysierende Substanz enthält, wird zwischen die beiden Griffe b, c gebracht und bildet das Stromschlußstück zwischen dem Kupferrohr A und dein Silberdraht B. Das Schiffchen L weist eine sehr lange Form auf und ist aus einem dünnen Platinblech bergestellt (vgl. Abb.3). Es verjüngt sich an einem Ende, so daß der elektrische Widerstand un#1 damit die Erhitzung dort stärker ist als am anderen Ende. Das Rohr :1 ist im Porzellanstück D durch ein Br:@nzestück L (Abb. 2) und eine .Mutter G befestigt. f ist ein Asbestring. .Man kann den Korkstöpsel austauschen, indem nian iias Rohr .4 vom Bronzestück E durch Abschrauben vom (i freimacht. Der zur Verbrennung nötige Sauerstoff oder Luftstrom wird durch cien Kanal v, v in Richtung der Pfeile (Abb. 2) eingeführt.
