Abstract

A dispenser for toothpaste or medicinal cream has a storage container in which a piston with a mushroom top and dispensing opening can be immersed. The piston has on its periphery three grooves for piston rings. Their abutting joint is wedge-shaped and the rings have adequate initial prestress to form a tight seal with the wall of the container.
