Description
The invention relates to a turning tool holder with several adjustable heads in a common head and steels inclined to the longitudinal axis of the workpiece to be turned off, which by means of a screw tightening in the Axially displaceable clamping ring clamped on a conical core will.
All steels can be used simultaneously and precisely evenly in the direction of their Longitudinal axis shifted and'be used to a small extent. One achieves this by the fact that you can use the appropriate combination of known items Possibility of safe guidance and retention of the steels by creating the conical core with its rear face against the correspondingly stepped floor of a head is held inside by an externally threaded one in the end part of the hollow head screwable clamping ring. This clamping ring includes with appropriate Grooves the steels lying in the grooves of the core.

The turning tool holder! «Stands out from a cone5 truncated steel holder core i, which at its rear part in a cylindrical, part 2 provided with an external thread passes. In the mantle of this conical core is a number of right-angled longitudinal grooves 3 milled, which for storage of a corresponding number of turning tools 4 are used, which have the form shown in Fig. 10. The clamping of these turning tools 4 on the holder core 1 is also carried out by a frustoconical clamping ring 5, which on its inner surface with the grooves 3 corresponding grooves 6 is provided. At its rear part, the outer jacket goes over this Clamping ring 5 also in a cylindrical part 7 provided with an external thread about, which by means of this thread in the internal thread 8 of a cylindrical union nut 9 can be screwed in. The connection of this union nut 9 and thus also the parts 1, 4, 5 held by it with the holder pin 10 takes place through a number of screw bolts 11, soft through holes 12 of the flange 13 provided on the pin 10 -through and into threaded bores 14 of the union nut 9 can be screwed in. To when not exactly coincident Position of the steel holder in relation to the workpiece to be turned off, a corresponding readjustment of the steel holder allow, the bores 12 of the pin flange 13 have a slightly larger diameter, than the bolt ii so that after Loosening these screw bolts of the entire steel holder relative to the axis of the pin 10 eccentrically shifted and thereby exactly coincident with the workpiece can be adjusted. To compensate for the wear and tear of the tools or the turning tools to a slightly smaller working diameter to be able to adjust, precautions have been taken to remove them after loosening the clamping ring 5 by turning the over- i Wu rf nut 9 advance together and exactly evenly in the direction of their longitudinal axes to be able to. This advance takes place with the help of an adjusting ring 15, which with provided with the corresponding internal thread 16 and iuif the external thread 2 of the holder core 1 l is displaceable by rotation in the direction of the longitudinal axis. The twist of this ; Adjusting ring 15 is made by inserting a suitable key in the circumference! of the adjusting ring provided holes 17, which freely accessible from the outside through an opening 18 arranged laterally in the union nut 9 gig are. After turning the; Adjusting ring 15 the desired feed rate j turning tools 4 has been achieved, these are by screwing the parts 5 and 9 on the Holder core 1 clamped immovably. To do this, the entire head of the holder 10 can be removed. To ease or postpone the To make steels impossible under all circumstances, threaded holes 19 des The clamping ring 5 finally has a number of corresponding to the number of turning tools Clamping screws 20 stored, which exactly at right angles to the in the relevant Axial planes of the turning tool holder on the side surfaces of the steels act and this thereby clamp in the bearing grooves 6 of the clamping ring.
In order to be able to use the turning tools except for a very small remainder, are Finally, intermediate pieces, not shown in the drawing, are provided, which in their shape corresponds to the rear part of the turning tool and, if it is heavily worn, the Turning tools can be fitted between these and the adjusting ring 9S 15. The pressure of the adjusting ring is then reliably applied to the turning tools through these spacers transfer.
