Dadurch ist die Möglichkeit gegeben, daß bei jeder beliebigen Stellung der Schlösser und in jeder Bewegungsrichtung des Schlittens ein Kuppeln mit Nadeln stattfinden kann, welche sich in der höchsten Kulierstellung der sogenannten Linksstellung befinden und denen vom anderen gegenüberliegenden Bett außerhalb des Bereiches der Kuppelschräge Platinen entgegengebracht werden. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, daß im Bereich der erweiterten Durchgangskehlungen und den federnden Sperrschieberchen die entgegengebrachten 1'1atinen auf die 2,Tadell:öpfe auflaufen, wobei die federnden Sperrschieberchen zurückgedrückt werden und nach dem vollen Austrieb die Platinen so zum Einkuppeln gelangen. Nach dem Einkuppeln federt das Sperrschieberchen sofort wieder zurück und dient sogleich wieder als Deckung. Gleich darauf werden die so gekuppelten hinteren Linksplatinen im Kulierbereich dl durch die hintereKuppelschräge cl wieder entkuppelt und die Nadeln durch die v3rderen Platinen und das Schloß wieder ins vordere Bett zurückgebracht. Es hat somit nur eine sogenannte Notkupplung stattgefunden, wo sonst ohne federnden Schieber der Schlitten festsitzen würde.
