Abstract
The pump has a setting control (19) for the quantity of fuel injected. The control is adjusted via a regulator (20) in dependence on the monitored engine operating paameters, or via an electric setting motor (140) for rapid elimination of engine knock detected by rapid variations in the revs or by relative movement of the engine to the vehicle chassis. Pref. the electric setting motor (140) controls a full load stop (36) for a setting lever (29) cooperating with the setting control (19). Pref. the setting lever (29) is attached to a 2-armed lever (38) at one end, the setting motor (140) coupled to it at the opposite end.
