Description

Process for the manufacture of explosive air cartridges. It is known, Manufacture explosive air cartridges in such a way that paper, cardboard or other fibrous materials processed into cartridge bodies by winding on a mandrel with a small diameter alone or by adding suitable substances during production of the paper etc. or afterwards after the completion of such a winding cartridge. However, it has been found that thereby the materials used for the purpose of Mixture with the paper stock must be made moist, swallow a lot of heat, to be freed from this moisture again. On the other hand, it can be omitted some materials that are mixed in, the moisture no longer at all bring out completely, which has the disadvantage that with such cartridges when immersed in the liquid air and the resulting cooling, the moisture freezes and clog the pores against soaking with liquid air. To this disadvantage too fix, it is advisable to work in such a way that you get the finished, dry paper immediately before winding finite the cartridge components required for explosive technology, both carbon carriers as well as phleginating or oxygen-containing Substances loaded. This loading can be done in such a way that with the help of a slightly sloping shaking sieve or a shaking slide or a similar device, the material evenly over the entire width of the Paper web is distributed so that all places of the paper are evenly covered with the substance are covered. Instead of the shaking chute, you can also blow in with a pneumatic one Achieve device so that you can get the material immediately before the strip is rolled up blows into the wedge between already rolled and still taut paper.

PATENT CLAIM: A method for producing an explosive air cartridge, characterized in that a cartridge to be produced by winding paper or cardboard or other fibrous materials according to known methods is fed to finite carbon carriers or other substances required for the explosive effect that it is fed through vibrating screens , Vibrating chutes, pneumatically or in some other suitable manner applied to the paper and brought into the manner in the individual intermediate layers between the winding.
