D res ing und Gu Is tad angegebene Induktionsschutz
verwendet.
In the telegraphic over lines one works mostly in the so-called duplex mode in order to save line material. A known difficulty arises here when telegraphing in this way over several lines of a multiple line, in particular over several cores of a cable. The electric and magnetic field of each wire has an inducing effect on the neighboring lines. This disturbing induction effect is naturally particularly large in the vicinity of the transmitter, i.e. at the beginning of the line, since the strength of the outgoing telegraphing currents can be very considerable there. Accordingly, the transmitters of each station cause interference currents in particular in the receivers on the same line side, which are superimposed on the telegraph character streams arriving from the opposite station; in this way they falsify the incoming characters and can significantly disrupt operations. Of the arrangements and circuits that have been devised to remedy this drawback, the induction protection specified by D res ing and Gu Is tad is often used. As Fig. 1 shows, it consists in that a resistor r is placed in series with a capacitor K from each interfering transmitter after the line simulation of the disturbed receiver. The circuit is shown here for single-core operation. This arrangement reduces the disruptive induction effect, which is sufficient for moderate demands on the telegraphing speed, especially if only two-core cables are involved. If, on the other hand, several wires are combined in one cable, e.g. B. As is often the case, four of them, the remaining disruptive effects are still so considerable that they become noticeable during operation.

sämtlichen Konstanten so dimensioniertAccording to the invention, on the basis of practical experiments and theoretical considerations, which, however, are not suitable for reproduction here because of their scope, instead of the series connection of resistor and capacitor, a chain conductor consisting of induction-free series resistors t 1, r 2 , r 3 and shunt capacitors K 1 , K 2 , K z . .. (Fig. 2). Theoretical investigation shows that this arrangement is dimensioned in this way in all of its constants
Hier bedeuten
der Empfänger bleibt ungestört.can be that the compensation of the interference! stream is as perfect as possible. This is the difference compared to similar known devices, such as. B. those in the magazine for Schwachstromtechnik 1912. p. 368, described. The physical 'reason of this fact is found in the fact .i that the coupling between the two loading> sought veins is caused uniformly distributed through · "" capacity that can provide approximate post-j through the ladder. A dimensioning rule j here is that the sum of the cross capacities K 1 , K 1, K 3 must be equal to the third, part of the total so-called partial capacitance between the relevant cores or lines of the system; this is the capacitance that causes the electrical coupling between the cores in question. For '. For example, with quad cables, it is usually sufficient to use only two links of the protective chain (Fig. 2). The arrangement (Fig. 3) for two wires each then results for the usual intercom circuit, for example in single-wire operation. If the suppression of the interference currents proves to be insufficient, it is advisable to use approximately three links in the protective chain instead of two. It is assumed here that the earth is used as the return line for the telegraph currents. In double-line operation, the earth simply replaces the earth. second wire. With this type of operation ; however, are the disturbances considered here. mostly so small that they are of no consequence to the streams of telegraphy. Therefore, only single-wire operation is considered in the present case. Without further ado, the same considerations and arrangements also apply to the double-line circuits. Fig. 4 shows how the arrangement works when you want to work via the lines in simple mode (simplex). Here, A, A mean two auxiliary arrangements that can consist, for example, of the two windings of a relay or of two ohmic resistors. In the latter case, the receiver is placed between the two points α and b . The mode of operation of the auxiliary resistors A is as follows: When the interfering relay is working, the induction current / "flows from the disturbed wire to earth via one resistor A. If the protective chain were missing, an interfering voltage of of size I, · A act. Due to the existence of the protective chain, however, a current I 1 arises in the second auxiliary arrangement A at the same time , which in turn causes a voltage drop in the opposite direction of the magnitude I 1 · A. By appropriately dimensioning the protective chain as described above, it is now achieved that I 1 = Z 2 ; therefore, the two voltages arising at the auxiliary resistors compensate each other, ie the receiver remains undisturbed.
