Gemäß der Erfindung ist neben dem Plattenteller ein mit einer Kugel versehenes Gehäuse angeordnet, dessen hintere Führungswand in der Drehrichtung des Plattentellers gegen diesen schräg heranrückt. Durch die Einwirkung der Schalldosennadel auf ein an dem Schwenkarm angebrachtes Gestänge wird die Kugel gegen den Plattenteller bewegt, so daß sich die Kugel zwischen Plattenteller und der hinteren Wand des Gehäuses einklemmt und das weitere Umlaufen des Plattentellers verhindert. Da die Kraft zum Anstoßen der. Kugel überaus gering ist, so braucht die Einwirkung der Schalldosennadel nur ganz schwach zu sein. Trotzdem wird durch das Einklemmen der Kugel eine außerordentlich große Bremskraft ausgeübt, so daß der Plattenteller unbedingt sicher und jedesmal sofort im Augenblick der Einwirkung der Nadel angehalten wird. Das Anstoßen der Kugel erfolgt z. B. dadurch, daß in dem Schwenkarm eine Stange gelagert ist, die an dem einen Ende kurbelartig ausgebildet ist und deren anderes Ende einen senkrecht nach unten gebogenen Arm bildet, der die Kugel vordrückt, sobald das kurbelartige Ende der Stange von der Nadel angestoßen wird. Es ist zweckmäßig, den Arm, der die Kugel vordrückt, in der Achse des Drehzapfens für den Schwenkarm zu lagern, damit die Drehung des Schwenkarms die Lage des nach unten gebogenen Armes gegenüber der Kugel nicht verändert.
