A housing 40 of a hand-held radio control part 41 according to FIG. 5 is preferably cuboid. This form is a cassette 42 fitted. Claims (7)

1. Handset-shaped radio control unit, in particular handset for a cordless telephone, with a housing, the front side of which has operating and display elements and at least one sound inlet and one sound outlet opening, the operating elements and the sound outlet opening being able to be covered by a cover connected to the housing, thereby characterized in that the cover part is designed as a cassette ( 21 ) which can be pushed onto the housing ( 11 ) and that the housing and the cassette have guide means ( 24 , 25 ) which correspond to one another and which move the cassette between a first end position (A), in which the front ( 12 ) of the housing is almost completely released, and allows a second end position (B) in which the front of the housing is almost completely covered.
2. Radio control unit according to claim 1, characterized in that the housing ( 11 ) and the cassette ( 21 ) are curved in the longitudinal direction such that the housing and the cassette in the first end position (A) form an arched hand apparatus.
3. Radio control unit according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the guide means consist of at least one side slot ( 25 ) of the housing ( 11 ) and at least one fitting in the slot-shaped guide element ( 24 ) at the upper end of the cassette ( 21 ) .

Radio control unit according to claim 3, characterized in that in a housing ( 31 ) without a microphone and without a sound inlet opening, the cassette ( 33 ) at the lower end contains a sound inlet opening ( 34 ) and behind this a microphone ( 35 ) with microphone connections of the housing ( 31 ) is electrically connected.

Radio control unit, according to claim 3 or 4, characterized in that the pin-shaped guide element ( 24 ) in the first end position (A) of the cassette ( 21 ) in the housing ( 11 ) provided switch ( 27 ) for switching the on or off Radio control unit ( 10 ) switches on and that the pin-shaped guide element ( 24 ) switches off or switches over when leaving the first end position (A).
