Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a hearing aid according to the preamble of claim 1. Such a hearing aid is from the DE 35 05 099 A1 has become known.
In such hearing aids is between the microphone and the listener an amplifier, and the arrangement of the housing components as well as the other components including the transducers achieves a seal such that a practical unobstructed sound transmission is enabled, however Moisture, water, dust and dirt with proper Use of the hearing aid cannot penetrate into it nen.
From CH-PS 3 59 163 it is known to complete an ear insert by means of an adapted plate or film, with an airtight seal transparent mass is covered. From DE- OS 14 87 272 it is known to have a hermetic seal on the circumference of a hearing aid by means of a special you tion. In neither of these two opposites However, a waterproof housing or a watertight arranged and can be operated from the outside Trigger element addressed. This is the sealing or the hermetic seal between the ear canal and hearing device aimed to improve the acoustic feedback between Decrease handset and microphone.
In the noise suppression circuit according to the US PS 47 59 071 sound levels below a threshold level suppressed and a compressed sound range for all sound transmitted above a threshold level. It no specific frequency components / ranges are mentioned.
In the circuit according to US-PS 47 50 207 the Fre frequency response varies as a function of low-frequency sounds. In the subject of the registration, it is assumed that that even higher frequency sounds are annoying. Regarding ELO 11/1986, pp. 10 to 13, it should be noted that here in the case of noise, the amplification in the lower frequency range is automatically reduced. Furthermore, the Remarks on US Pat. Nos. 47 59 071 and 47 50 207 sen.
As an internal state of the art, there is still an arrangement Known for hearing aids in which waterproof Eigen can be achieved more or less well. Today ver Hearing aids turned have setting options with which the amplification of the device, often also as volume referred to, can be set as well as switches and further options for presetting the hearing aid.
In the known arrangement, the volume control is Art arranged that an axis passed through the housing is. On the outside, the axle carries a rotary knob on the Inside the housing is the rotary motion of the rotation button over the axis to the actual volume transfer controller, which is a fundamentally known rotary potentiometer. Between the inside side of the housing and the potentiometer and between the outside of the case and the knob is each an O-ring attached so that after attaching the Knob the O-rings penetrating particles into prevent the device. The O-rings wear out, can swell by sweat or chemicals and so on Impair the function of the arrangement, also required this kind of an electromechanical volume control re relatively much space, so that the hearing aid is larger must become.
The invention has for its object a hearing device to create, which does not have the disadvantages mentioned has and that is waterproof.
He will do this according to the in the characterizing part of the An specified 1 measures resolved.
Further features and advantages of the invention result itself from the dependent claims.

A hearing aid 1 generally consists of a Ge housing 2 , in which mostly a microphone 21 with sound inlet opening 5 and mostly a receiver 22 with sound outlet opening 6 , amplifier circuit 23 and adjusting means 12 and the energy source 24 are arranged. This basic structure may be assumed to be known. It is shown how the mechanical volume control is replaced by electrical contacts 7, 8 , which are housed on or on the housing ( Fig. 1, 2, 5) or in the housing ( Fig. 3, 4) and to an associated circuit 9 lead, which causes that when pressing, touching or coming close to the contacts 7, 8, 10, 11 , the volume of the Ge device changes.
An embodiment of such a circuit 9 is shown in FIG. 9.
The principle circuit of the hearing aid described essentially consists of microphone 21 and receiver 22 and an intermediate amplifier circuit 23 , which in this exemplary embodiment consists of an amplifier 25 with feedback (H1) 26 , a downstream intermediate amplifier (V2) 27 , which results from the feedback (H2) 28 takes on the function of a frequency-determining element, a further intermediate amplifier (V3) 29 , the feedback (H3) 30 of which can be changed by an electronically variable resistor 31 so that the gain of the device is activated by actuation, touching or the proximity of the contacts 7, 8 or by further contacts 10, 11 can change and follow the power amplifier (V4) 32 , the feedback (H4) 33 is designed to determine the gain and the maximum output power and consists of several stages .
The above-mentioned electronically variable resistor 31 , which determines the function of the feedback (H3) 30 , is in turn changed by an electronic circuit device 9 , the intermediate circuits 36, 37, 38, 40 by means of contacts 7, 8, 10, 11 or Plates 7, 8, 10, 11 is controlled by changing the resistance 34, 35 between the contacts by touching, pressing or coming close, which can also be complex. This change in resistance is further processed by an interface 36 such that pulses are emitted, the frequency of which is predetermined by an external impedance 41 , and which are fed to a digital / analog converter 38 . A higher frequency of the pulses causes a faster change in resistance than a lower frequency. A minimally defined time is necessary to touch the contacts 7, 8, 10, 11 so that the first pulse is emitted. The number of pulses delivered is proportional to the time during which the contacts 7, 8, 10, 11 are touched. In the circuit 9 described , two variants of the pulse conversion can be selected, depending on whether the control input 39 is connected to a voltage or to ground. In the first-mentioned variant, each time the contacts 7, 8 are touched , the electronic resistance 31 of the feedback (H3) 30 is increased alternately and lowered the next time it is touched. It is necessary here for only one contact pair 7, 8 . In the second variant mentioned , the electronic resistance 31 is increased via the one contact pair 7, 8 , the electronic resistance 31 is decreased via the second contact pair 10, 11 , the two contact pairs 7, 8, 10, 11 having a common contact 8, 10 can own.
The conversion of the pulses into an analog signal, which determines the electronic resistance 31 of the feedback (H3) 30 , takes place via a Lin / Log converter 40 , since the loudness perception of the human ear has a logarithmic course.
The switch 12 in the embodiment of FIG. 1 can be used to attenuate the disturbing frequency components 13, 14 by means of an electronic circuit in the case of disturbing ambient noises ( FIG. 6). In Fig. 7, the attenuated frequency components 15, 16 are provided, whereby it is of course conceivable that other frequency components can be selectively attenuated by an automatic circuit. A function of switching on / off or switching is effected by further contacts 10 , 11 .
An embodiment is shown in which the contacts 7, 8, 10, 11 are located not only in the hearing aid ( FIG. 4) but also on a remote control ( FIG. 8) which, with further contacts 17, has further functions, such as, for example, B. triggers the settings of the device to adjust it optimally to the hearing loss, which is transmitted wirelessly by pulses and executed in the hearing aid itself.
In a further embodiment, not only the volume control has been replaced by contacts 7, 8 , but also the on / off or changeover switch has been replaced by contacts 10, 11, 17 , which in turn control an electronic circuit in order to carry out the desired function. In another embodiment, a so-called in-ear device is shown ( FIGS. 5, 5a), in which contacts 10, 11 turn on the hearing device 1 when the hearing device is inserted into the ear, be it by touching or by light pressure or by getting close.
In the embodiment according to Fig. 4, 4a, 4b of the shutter mechanism 18 is shown, the charging the battery 4 closes by means of a pivot lever 19 by being pushed over a projection 20 to engage then einzu so that it waterproof hearing aid safely and tightly closed. For this purpose, the battery door is equipped with a suitable rubber seal on the housing side, so that the battery door closes tightly to the housing.
In a further embodiment ( FIG. 10), a locking mechanism 18 is shown, which closes the battery door 4 by means of a pivot lever 19 by being pressed over a first projection 20 . In this closed position, zinc-air batteries can be used, since the oxygen supply is ensured via a small air duct 42 . If the pivot lever 19 is engaged in this embodiment via a second projection 43 in a further recess 44 , the air channel 42 is sealed, with a rubber seal device 45 is advantageous. The hearing aid is so waterproof and is used with a mercury cell.
There is also a display device on the housing outer surface provided to the respective setting state of the device. This display device can be a LCD display device.
