Die Erfindung betrifft eine Trommelwaschmaschine nach dem Oberbegriff
des Anspruchs 1. Sie betrifft insbesondere Haushaltwaschmaschinen mit

Gemäß Fig. 1 ist in einem Bottich 1 eine Trommel 2 mit ihrem
Trommelmantel 3 und den Trommelwänden 4, 4′ drehbar gelagert. Im Inneren
der Trommel 2 befinden sich Trommelrippen 5, die der Mitnahme der
Wäschestücke dienen. Die Einfüllöffnung der Trommel 2 ist an der
Gerätevorderseite 6 durch ein Türglas 7 und einen Türbalg 9 dicht
verschließbar. Am Boden des Bottichs 1 befindet sich dessen
Bottichablauf 8. Mit 10 ist die Rückseite des Bottichs 1 bezeichnet. An
der Trommelwand 4 ist ein umlaufender Schöpfring 11 angeordnet, dessen

4′ angebrachten seitlichen Zulauföffnungen 13 mit dem Innern der Trommel
2 in Verbindung stehen. Die Schöpfkammern 12 werden mit Hilfe gekrümmter
Schöpfschaufeln 12′ gebildet, deren offene Enden leicht hochgebogen
sind. Am äußeren, zylindrischen Umfang des Schöpfrings 11 sind versetzt
zu den im Inneren der Schöpfkammer 12 liegenden Zulauföffnungen 13 der
Trommel 2 radial nach unten offene Schöpfkammer-Zulauföffnungen 14
angebracht. Diese Schöpfkammer-Zulauföffnungen 14 liegen außerhalb des
Durchmessers des Trommelmantels 3 und tauchen entweder voll in das
maximale Füllniveau 16 oder gerade noch in das minimale Füllniveau 17
der Waschlauge ein. Beide Füllniveaus 16, 17 liegen unterhalb des
Trommelmantels 3. Dreht nun die Trommel 2 im Gegenuhrzeigersinn, wird
die Lauge durch die Zulauföffnungen 14, 13 ins Innere der Trommel 2
geschöpft und benetzt die Wäsche. Der Benetzungsvorgang geht in relativ
kurzer Zeit vonstatten, da durch die Vielzahl der Schöpfkammern 12 pro

wiederum ins Innere der Trommel 2 befördert wird. Die Schöpfringe 11
gemäß den Fig. 2 und 3 können entweder an der rückseitigen
Trommelwand 4 oder an der, der Gerätevorderseite 6 zugewandten,
