entfernt und zwischen Papierblättern aufbewahrt wird, oder daß die Farbmasse auf
ein z. B. mit einer Seifenemulsion, Wachs o. dgl. vorbehandeltes Papier aufgetragen
und hierauf vom Papier abgezogen wird öder mit demselben bis zum Augenblick der
Verwendung verbunden bleibt, wobei. die Prägung durch das Papier erfolgt und letzteres
nach- der Prägung von der Prägestelle abgezogen wird. In dem _ ersteren Fall, wo
die Farbmasse auf die Glasplatte aufgetragen wird, liegt. die Schauseite der Folie
frei, während in dem anderen Fall die Schauseite der Folie der Papierschicht zugekehrt
ist. Als Bindemittel werden l:ei Herstellung solcher Folien die verschiedensten
Substanzen, wie z. B. Leim, Gelatine, Kasein, Eiweiß u. dgl., benutzt und vielfach,
um eine zu starke Brüchigkeit der Folie zu verhindern, geringe Mengen Glycerin hnzugefügt.
