Die Schicht aus den feuchtigkeitstransportierenden Fasern ist die innere, auf der Haut des Trägers liegende Seite der Ware, die Schicht aus den feuchtigkeitsspeichernden Fasern liegt auf der Außenseite. Das in Fig. 1 dargestellte Abschlußbörtchen ist als ge stricktes oder gewirktes Band 1 ausgebildet. Der über einer vorzugsweise in der Bandmitte in Längsrichtung ver laufenden Linie 2 gelegene Bereich 3 des Bandes 1 ist aus Polyestergarn gefertigt, der unterhalb der Linie 2 lie gende Bereich 4 besteht aus Baumwolle. Statt Polyester garnen können auch Garne aus anderen feuchtigkeitsab gebenden oder feuchtigkeitstransportierenden Fasern insbesondere aus Kunststoff verwendet werden. Das Baum wollgarn im Bereich 4 kann durch andere feuchtigkeits speichernde Natur- oder Kunststoffasern ersetzt werden. Zwischen den Bereichen 3 und 4 liegt eine soge nannte "Knickmaschenreihe" 5, die entlang der Linie 2 verläuft. Im Bereich dieser an sich bekannten Knick maschenreihe 5 ist das Band 1 dünner ausgebildet, so daß es dort leicht umgefaltet werden kann. B. durch Nähen mit der Ware 6 verbunden, daß der aus Polyester bestehende Bereich 3 auf der Innenseite 7 und der aus Baumwolle bestehende Bereich 4 auf der Außenseite der Ware 6 liegt.
