Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an electrical device with builders rechargeable energy source, whereby for Aufla The power source is connected to a charger is closed.
Portable electrical devices such as Drilling machines, Ra diorecorders, or walkie-talkies, are common with a rechargeable energy source in the form of a battery mulators provided. After the ge in the accumulators stored electrical energy can be used up the batteries of these devices by connecting to one Charger can be recharged. Quite often pose these electrical devices a not inconsiderable Ver asset. So popular with the owner of a sol Chen device due to the compactness of their design and the off-grid power supply and the right resulting wearability, they are also the Ge drive theft and operation by an unrelated authorized users suspended.
The object of the invention is to provide electrical equipment gangs mentioned in such a way that they are a thief have steel security, which with little effort is realizing and potential thieves from the designs of a device with this anti-theft device holds.
The object is achieved in that in the electrical Device a blocking element, a monitoring circuit and Decoding logic are provided and a code in the charger transmitter is provided.
Advantageous developments of the invention are in the Subclaims specified.
In general, the electrical device is owned by the owner also taken out of the house and then is one exposed to increased risk of theft. That for this device The intended charger usually stays at home, however it for charging operation on a power supply network must be closed. The invention is based on the consideration based on the fact that an electrical device, which according to Entla his accumulators only with a specially designed the charger can be put back into operation, an only significantly reduced incentive for an unauthorized person represents removal. An electrical device with which he resourceful theft protection can only be used with a this charger provided again in operation be taken. Here are electrical device and charging device matched in pairs. Even with one second charger of the same design can then the elek electrical device can no longer be put into operation. Electrical devices with the anti-theft device are in front partially marked as such easily recognizable net to achieve a deterrent effect. The use such an electrical device without the associated Charger is out of time after an unauthorized removal limited until the batteries are discharged. For one potential purchaser is such a device without this audible charger practically worthless. This worthlessness the user will weigh the risk of discovery and usually come to the conclusion that a theft this electrical device with theft protection is worthwhile.
The invention is based on the Darge in the drawing presented described embodiment and he purifies. A portable radio is an exemplary embodiment speaker selected.
The drawing shows a schematic circuit diagram of a walkie-talkie with a transmitting part 1 and a receiving part 2 . Transmitter and receiver are supplied by an accumulator 4 with operating voltage. To form the transmission carrier frequencies or the various mixing frequencies, modulators of the transmitting part 1 or demodulator of the receiving part 2 are connected to the outputs of a main oscillator 10 . About an operating voltage scarf ter 11 , the main oscillator 10 is also connected to the battery mulator 4 . The operating voltage switch 11 acts as a blocking element since the radio is not operational during the interruption of the power supply to the main oscillator 10 .
Furthermore, a monitoring circuit 12 and a code receiver 13 are connected to the accumulator 4 . The monitoring circuit 12 monitors the battery voltage. If the accumulator voltage rises, this is a sign that the accumulator is supplied with energy by an external voltage source. In this case, the monitoring circuit emits a blocking pulse at the input of a logic element 14 . The second input of the link 14 , the output of a code comparator 15 is supplied. The code comparator 15 compares a code possibly received by the code receiver 13 with a code stored in a code memory 16 . If the two codes match, the blocking element 11 is released.
The locking member 11 is only in the conductive state ver when the walkie-talkie is charged to a charger, and at the same time receives a corresponding coding. Therefore, a specially designed charger is required to charge the accumulators of the walkie-talkie. The charger 5 consists of a conventional charger 20 and a code transmitter 21 . In the code transmitter 21 , a code memory, not shown, is arranged, the content of which sends contacts to the connected device via the charging during the charging process. In this way, additional te contacts are not required. In this case, it is advantageous to design code transmitters and code receivers similar to the transmit and receive stages used in the so-called I-square C-bus concept. Another advantageous embodiment provides a capacitive or inductive coupling of code transmitter and code receiver for transmitting the code.
In a further embodiment of the invention, not shown, the code receiver is connected to a manual coding device. Using the manual coding device, the code can be entered using various keys. These can be numeric keys, such as those used to set a specific transmit / receive frequency, but this can also be done by pressing other control keys in a predetermined order. Thanks to the additional manual input option for the code, the radio can still be put into operation after its batteries have not been charged using the charger provided for this purpose. The manual entry of the code, which is only known to authorized users, causes the code comparator 15 to set the blocking element 11 in the conductive state.
In a further embodiment of the invention, a programming device is connected between the code receiver 13 and the code memory 16 . When the electrical device is charged for the first time on a charger 5 , the code received by the code receiver 13 is stored in the code memory 16 by the programming device. In this way, the electrical device can only be put into operation again with this charger after a new charge. On the one hand, this offers the advantage that when pairing the electrical device / charger, exchanges are meaningless until the electrical device is charged for the first time. On the other hand, any number of electrical devices can be loaded one after the other on a charger without the purchaser of a new device having to make sure that the new device to be purchased has the same coding as the devices that he already has.
In a further embodiment of the invention, in addition to the first code memory 16 , which contains the code for the comparison with the code received by the charger, a second code memory is provided. If a code is entered via the manual coding device, the content of the second code memory is used for the comparison. This has the advantage that the code of the charger need not be known to the user.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the manual input device a second programming direction associated with the content of the second code memory can be changed. That way, ever the user use their own coding and they if necessary, change yourself.
For effective theft protection, it is necessary that the component to be locked by means of the locking member is an essential part of the electrical device, so that the device is blocked in its overall function without this component. Furthermore, the locking element must be protected against manipulation and must not be able to be bridged, for example. In the exemplary embodiment, blocking element 11 , monitoring circuit 12 and code evaluation circuit 13 , 14 , 15 , 16 and essential parts of oscillator 10 are integrated on a common semiconductor circuit 3 .
It is also advantageous to use a locking member Combine timeout. After each unsuccessful Ver search for theft protection by entering a code put out of operation, the blocking member remains for one certain time, e.g. a minute, locked even if then the correct code is entered. In this way is prevented from happening by mere trying the right code is discovered. Due to the time lock he requires a systematic trial a lot of time, so that the unauthorized user is forced to give up at some point will.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the code provided for the comparison is encoded in the memory module 16 . The code comparator 15 is preceded by a decryptor which decrypts the code read from the memory module 16 . As a result, the code can be stored separately from the common semiconductor circuit. This has the advantage that the code can be changed at any time with knowledge of the encryption rule without having to intervene in the semiconductor circuit. As a result, all semiconductor components that contain the protective circuit can be manufactured in the same way. The code is stored in a generally available and inexpensive, freely programmable, memory, whereby the manipulation rule, which is only known to the manufacturer of the semiconductor device containing the protective circuit, virtually rules out successful manipulation. Even with knowledge of the code that a corresponding charger sends to the electrical device, an effective reprogramming of this memory module cannot be carried out if the encryption rule is not known.
