Abstract

On walls, preferably of kitchens and other sanitary blocks, but also in commercial and industrial establishments, there are fixed devices, equipment and machines which produce structure-borne noise, whether it be through the motors they possess or through the banging of hard objects (e.g. the closing of doors and cabinets (cupboards)). These structure-borne noises are transmitted through structures and disturb the neighbourhood. It is therefore necessary to protect against the structure-borne noise for devices to be hung up. The solution according to the invention consists in using a symmetrical pair of rails insulated against structure-borne noise, one of the rail pairs being fixed on the wall, the second rail pair being fixed on the object (e.g. cabinet) to be hung up. The diagram shows the hanging-up, e.g. of a cabinet, with the aid of the device, an additional damping strip in the lower part being used as additional spacer.
