Description
Device for generating stimulation currents in muscles, in particular for rhythmic currents. It is known that those arise in animal tissues Muscle currents are amplified in the way by means of a so-called cathode tube can that the curve of the amplified current in each individual point is exactly proportional the original circuit remains.
The invention consists in a device to by means of the cathode tube to generate electrical stimulation currents, the course of which is either exactly the same or but a deliberately different it, as it is in the animal organism in naturally arises. It does not matter whether there are individual power surges is or is about rhythmic impacts, such as when working the heart muscle develop.
With the help of the new facility, the weak currents are fed to the grid of a cathode tube and the amplified currents either from this tube or with a cascade arrangement of the anode lead taken from the last tube. If the location of the electrodes on the body is appropriate is chosen, the currents can be taken from the body and amplified from the same body can be fed back without a disruptive effect on the original Currents and thus an unwanted distortion of the current curve is brought about.
Such an arrangement is shown schematically in the drawing. At the points A 'and A 2, the electrodes are connected to draw the currents, which lead to the grid G of the first amplifier tube R1. A second, more powerful cathode tube R2 is connected to this in a known manner via the grid battery GB and the capacitor C. The currents amplified by the anode battery AB are taken from the cathode K'2 and the anode A of the tube R2 and, for example, fed to the same body at two points BI and B2, which are expediently selected (e.g. by analogy with the Wheatestone bridge) so that the Currents entering at A 1 and A 2 influence the output currents of B1 and B2 as little as possible. For precise regulation of the currents, a variable auxiliary potential H is arranged between the grid G and the cathode K1 of the tube R1 in the manner known from cathode tube technology. By changing the auxiliary voltage H at the grid G of the first tube R2 or by switching on self-induction, capacitance and resistances, the curve of the amplified current can be changed within wide limits.
