Kippbarer Extraktionsbehälter.Tiltable extraction container.
In the case of extraction devices that use solvents such as gasoline,
Ether, alcohol, acetone, chloroform, trichlorethylene, carbon tetrachloride or the like,
work, the solution remaining in the extraction material is usually blown in
expelled by water vapor, and the mixture of water vapor and solvent vapor
compressed together in a condenser, whereupon the liquids either by segregation
or separated from one another by a new distillation. Now is the case with some fabrics
The use of blown-in steam is not permitted and the solvent is therefore not allowed
can only be expelled from the extraction material by heating from the outside.
However, this succeeds only imperfectly because the heat does not get into the interior of the extraction material
penetrates. It is known to support the expulsion of the solvent here
with the help of agitators; In particular, agitators with a horizontal axis are effective,
which loosen the material and guide it past the heated vessel wall. Such agitators
but are not readily applicable to an extraction container which is in
its lower part carries a sieve bottom, which is usually covered with a filter cloth
is to drain the solution filtered. When driving out with support
by an agitator, it is rather necessary that the extraction material on the
Heating floor rests in order to allow the passage of heat. The present
Invention now consists in that the two aforementioned requirements are met,
namely that once the material rests on a sieve bottom for the purpose of filtering the solution
and that another time it rests on a heating floor to drive off the solvent
with the support of the agitator. This new dual purpose is achieved by
that stored in an extraction vessel in a known design in pivot pins and
equipped with an agitator with a horizontal shaft, the agitator blades of which have the hemispherical,
coat heated floor, a sieve floor is installed opposite the heating floor,
so that in one position of the vessel the sieve bottom is at the bottom, this is the extraction material
carries and the extract drains filtered, while in the other, turned around 180 "
Position of the vessel with the heating floor at the bottom and heat the extraction material
supplies, so that with the support of the agitator, the vapors from the extraction material
are driven out and can be withdrawn through the sieve bottom. To record
The space between the heating plate and the sieve plate is always used for the extraction material.
In der Zeichnung zeigt Abb. I und 2 das Extraktionsgefäß a in senkrechtem
In the drawing, Fig. I and 2 show the extraction vessel a in a vertical position
Cut; In the removable cover there is a nozzle c for discharging the solution.
The ribbed cones, in which the vessel rests, also serve to store the
Shaft of the agitator s e, the curved arms of which are hemispherical in a known manner
Brush the bottom of the vessel. The hemispherical bottom of the vessel is with the heating jacket
d provided. The sieve bottom is on the opposite side of the vessel
b, which is advantageously clamped between the lid and the edge of the vessel.
The operation of the extraction vessel is as follows: In the with
The vessel filled with extraction material is inserted into the sieve bottom, so that the extraction material
is located in the space between the heating plate and the sieve plate. Now the lid
closed and the vessel turned so that the sieve bottom is at the bottom (Fig. I). That
Solvent enters through nozzle f, penetrates the extraction material, occurs
as a solution through the sieve bottom covered with filter cloth and runs at c to the still
away. After the extraction has ended, the inflow and outflow lines are detached from the vessel
and this rotated by 180 C so that the sieve bottom comes up and the extraction material
is on the heating floor (Fig.2).
The nozzle f is then closed and the nozzle c to the
Condenser leading pipe attached, whereupon after heating the raised floor the
Solvent vapors driven out of the estate with the assistance of the agitator
will. Finally, after removing the lid and the sieve bottom, the extracted
Well emptied by tilting the container.
