Abstract

In a transformer of the type with an adjuster on the insulating housing connected to the high voltage secondary, the insulating housing has a separator wall between its internal space and the adjuster. The adjuster is provided on an end with contact parts leading into the internal space. The contact part connected with the high voltage winding consists of an insulated wire (25) which connects the high voltage winding directly with the adjuster (19,20) for a focus voltage. The insulation of the wire reaches into the internal space of the insulated housing, and the wire has a high stiffness such that it is shiftable through a slot in the insulated housing.
