Abstract

The toy cars are driven along the track by remote control. At set points along the track there are fitted parallel contact strips (7) to supply the vehicle batteries via wiper contacts under each unit. The batteries are NiCd-types which allow pulse type charging in minimum time. The contact strips are DC supplied and are attached to the segmented track with adhesive etc. The strips have end ramps to prevent tearing off the track and are coated with a protective layer. The guidance of the vehicles is by guide slots or by electric means. The segmented track can have contacts incorporated in the jointing clips.
