Abstract
The buffer impact dissipation equipment, partic. for trams, has a primary dissipation unit in a central buffer coupler for the shock loads during travel and shunting, and a secondary one for excessive impacts. It comprises a straight, horizontal cross-beam (1) sliding in longitudinally in vehicle head, with a hinged central buffer coupler (6) on the vehicle centre line, while the secondary energy dissipation units (10) are mounted near its ends.
