Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von Kinofilmen zur gleichzeitigen Wiedergabe von Bildern und Tönen. Das Verfahren besteht darin, daß ein Filmnegativ kopiert wird, auf welchem Gesichts-und Gehöreindrücke in gemeinschaftlicher photographischer Kammer optisch festgehalten sind. Während der Bildteil photographisch in bekannter Weise behandelt wird, wird die belichtete Leimschicht an den Stellen der Klangschrift nach dem Entwickeln und Fixieren durch Gerbung in einem geeigneten Gerbebad ätzfest gemacht. Unter dem Schutze der gehärteten Emulsion wird dann der Schichtträger an den nicht belichteten Stellen angeätzt oder bis zu einem gewissen Grade gelöst. Besteht der Schichtträger aus Zellhorn, so ist das Lösemittel z. B. Azeton. Im Löseprozeß bildet sich im Schichtträger nach Maßgabe des Klangbildes die Klangfurche, die von einer Schallabnahmevorrichtung bespielt wird. Der Verwendung photomechanisch verwertbarer, zellhornähnlicher Stoffe (Gummi, Kollodium u. dgl.) steht nichts im Wege; stets kommt es darauf an, daß die Schallfurche im Schichtträger in der beschriebenen Weise unter dem Schutze der gehärteten Emulsion, die ätzfest ,decken muß, durch Ätzung oder teilweise Lösung des Schichtträgers in dem für ihn geeigneten Lösemittel entsteht.Process for the production of motion picture films for simultaneous playback of images and sounds.
