Die äufseren Flächen der Keile e e entsprechen der inneren Cylinderfläche der Reibungsscheibe c. Die Keile e e sind mittelst der Schrauben ff so mit der Hülse g verbunden, dafs sie sich bei einer Verschiebung der Hülse g mit derselben bewegen, die Verbindungsschrauben ff jedoch eine Annäherung oder Entfernung der Keile e e gegen die innere Cylinderfläche der Scheibe c gestatten. Wird daher die Hülse g in der Längsrichtung der Achsen verschoben, so werden dadurch die Keile ee gegen die innere Cylinderfläche der Scheibe c gedrückt oder von derselben entfernt, wodurch ein Ein- oder Ausrücken der getriebenen Welle stattfindet.
