Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung einer in Wasser leicht löslichen Verbindung des Aluminiums mit Salicylsäure. Das Aluminium gibt mit der Salicylsäure nur Verbindungen, die im Wasser unlöslich sind. Alle wäßrigen Lösungen des Aluminiums mit organischen Säuren, wie - der Essigsäure, werden durch die Salicylsäure gefällt. namentlich in verdünnteren Lösungen und beim Erhitzen. In einigen Fällen entstehen zwar Doppelsalze des Aluminiumsalicylats, ähnlich dem Alaun, z. B. mit Kalium- oder Ammoniumsalicylat, die u. a. in den Patentschriften 78903 und 818z9 der Klasse 12 beschrieben sind. Aber die wäßrigen Lösungen dieser Doppelsalze sind recht unbeständig: in stärkeren Verdünnungen, zumal mit gewöhnlichem Wasser, flocken sie aus und erleiden auch beim Erhitzen Zersetzungen; der Gehalt an Alkali- und Ammoniumsalz ist ein unwirksames Beschwerungsmittel, das um so mehr ins Gewicht fällt, als diese Produkte in erster Linie als Desinfektionsmittel dienen, denen die zusammenziehende Wirkung der Tonerde zukommen soll.Process for the preparation of a compound of aluminum with salicylic acid, which is readily soluble in water.
