Die Erfindung betrifft eine für Streichholzschachteln
bestimmte Schutzhülle mit abnehmbarem Federband, das zum selbsttätigen
Vorschieben des Schubkastens beim öffnen der Hülle dient. Das Eigentümliche der Erfindung
besteht darin, daß das elastische Band einerseits mittels Hakens und: Öse und anderseits
mittels Druckknopfes an der Schutzhülle befestigt ist. Damit wird eine einfache und
ίο leichte Abnehmbarkeit und Anbringbarkeit des neuen Bandes erreicht, und: der Druckknopfverschluß
kann auch gleichzeitig· dazu dienen, die äußere Hülle festzuhalten, indem
die Druckknopföse für das federnde Band gleichzeitig nach außen den federnden Druckknopf
für die an der Umschlagklappe befindliche öse bildet. Die Erfindung stellt daher

Die Schutzhülle besteht gemäß der Erfindung aus einem Streifen a, aus lederartigem
Stoff, der beliebig gefaltet wenden kann, um sich um die Streichholzschachtel b herumzulegen.
Ein Ende des Streifens α ist mit einer öffnung c versehen, während das andere Ende
den ösenteil eines Druckknopfes d trägt. Das elastische Band e hängt mit einem Haken f in
einer öse g und hat am anderen Ende den Zapfenteil h eines Druckknopfverschlusses,
welcher durch die öffnung c hindurchgeht und mit seinem Teil i für die Druckknopföse d zugleich
den Halt bietet. Der knopfartige Ansatz h dient also einerseits zur Befestigung
des elastischen Bandes e und anderseits auch zum Festhalten des druckknopfähnlichen Ansatzes.
Soll nun die Gummischnur in Benutzung treten, so wird' die Schachtelhülle
zwischen Streifen α; und1 Gummischnur eingesetzt
und alsdann die Schubschachtel für die Streichhölzer über der Schnur e derart
eingeschoben, daß diese Schnur mit in den Umfassungsteil hineingezogen wird. Verschließt
man nun das Ganze durch den Lappen mit dem Druckknopf <J, so wird die
Streichholzschachtel festgehalten und geschont; öffnet man aber den Druckknopf-Verschluß,
so schiebt das elastische Band e die Schubschachtel k mit den Streichhölzern
