Description
Gasabführung für Starrluftschiffe. Zusatz zum Patent 303968. Gegenüber der durch das Hauptpatent geschützten Vorrichtung besteht das Neue dieser Schachtanordnung in der völligen Ab.-schließung des gasführenden Kanals gegen das Innere des Luftschiffes; die zur Verdünnung des Gases notwendige Luft wird von außen mittels Druckhaube entnommen und in einem besonderen Kanal bis unter die Überdruckventile der Zellen geführt. Abb. r der Zeichnung zeigt einen Gasabführungsschacht a irre Längs- und Querschnitt durch das Luftschiff b; c ist der Luftkanal. Die gestrichelten Pfeile zeigen den Weg der von außen einströmenden Luft, die ausgezogenen Pfeile den Weg des Gas- und Luftgemisches im Schacht a an. Bei Abb. z der Zeichnung erfolgt die Luftzufuhr durch das von oben mündende Rohr c; das Rohr c kann auch seitlich der Mittellinie des Schiffsrumpfes münden. Die Vorteile der neuen Anordnung bestehen in der Zwangläufigkeit der Bewegung der an den Ventilen freiwerdenden Gasmengen, in der besseren Regulierbarkeit der Verdünnung des Gases und in der vollkommenen Ventilierung des Schachtes mittels der zwangläufig eingeführten Luft; die Explosionsgefahr wird hierbei erheblich eingeschränkt.Gas evacuation for rigid airships.
