Description
Von außen beheizter Drehtrommelentgaser mit sähraubengangförmigen Führungsrippen an der Drehtrommelwandung zum Entgasen bituminöser Brennstoffe bei niederer Temperatur. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verbesserung der bisher für die Tieftemperaturverkokung gebräuchlichen Drehtrommeln. Es ist bekannt, daß die Kohle während der beginnenden Teerabschei@dung sich in einem teigigen Zustand befindet. Um ein Aufschäumen der Masse .in dieser Periode zu verhindern, darf nur mäßig erwärmt werden, und man erhält dann einen festen Halbkoks. Nach der Erfindung findet dieser Vorgang in einem mäßig erwärmten Innenrohr statt. Bildet man dieses Rohr konisch aus, nach dem Kohleneingang zu verjüngt, so fallen die Führungsrippen weg und das Zusammenbacken und Klinkern wird in hervorragender Weise begünstigt. Man erhält einen stückigen Halbkoks, der dann in der äußeren Trommel weiter entteert und fest wird. Die hier frei werdenden Destillationsgase treten auf kürzestem Wege .durch Spalten in das verhältnismäßig kühle Innenrohr ein .und sind dadurch vor Zersetzung durch die heißen Trommelwände geschützt. Ein weiterer Vorzug der Erfindung besteht, wie aus der Zeichnung ersichtlich, in dem Fortfall der Stopfbüchse oder der Abdichtung an dem einen Ende; ,der Ofen baut sich dadurch wesentlich stabiler.
