Description
The invention relates to a bifilar vibration Damper for the crankshaft of the internal combustion engine Motor vehicle by the preamble of the patent say 1 specified genus.
In the generic vibration damper according to the main patent P 36 33 584.3 are the ones with the contour holes of the Trä gers and the pendulum mass formed tracks for the roll Provide body with radii so dimensioned that the axis the rolling element and thus the measure for the pendulum vibrations usual mass center of the pendulum mass with its small Vibration amplitudes of an approximately epicycloid or one can follow the tautochronous orbit. The little vibrating am The pendulum masses are plitudes with respect to their zero position up to a range of approximately ± 15 ° relative Vibration position is set to the cramped unit of a land vehicle on its crankshaft Internal combustion engine for the arrangement of the vibration damper feasible considering the available space Transition to problematics for vibration damping shear to get larger vibration amplitudes. The to tune the pendulum frequency in such larger ones Vibration amplitudes of the pendulum mass are also in the shape of the tracks for the rolling elements bil Ending contour holes integrated by doing their radii are formed with ramps, which the pendulum mass in the area the higher excitation frequencies of the crankshaft from the previous one progressively corresponding relative vibration position less responsive. That with such ramps was enough to tune the pendulum frequency for the larger Schwin The amplitudes of the pendulum mass practically result in a unchanged retention of the natural pendulum frequency over the entire speed range of the crankshaft, what because an exact compensation possible with the vibration damper of machine vibrations of the first and at least the second order a correspondingly quiet machine run he there and also a possibility of mechanical damage to the Vibration damper prevented. One with this vibration Damper otherwise optimally implemented arrangement of rubber-elastic buffers is only for that Purpose provided at a radial inner position of the door gers a direct metallic contact possibility of the Pendulum mass with the crankshaft and thus a noise to prevent doping that would otherwise occur as a result of swimming arrangement of the pendulum mass, for example at the start process of the internal combustion engine could come.
One with the generic vibration damper after Main patent matching and doing the job position also on the generic vibration damper according to the US-PS 42 18 187 oriented vibration behavior can alternatively be achieved if which in the generic vibration damper to over Tuning the pendulum frequency means with an Fe the arrangement are formed for one of the larger ones Vibration amplitudes of the pendulum mass dependent linear or progressive load change is formed.
Similar to the rubber-elastic buffers in the vibration The damper according to the main patent is the use of an Fe the arrangement of generic vibration dampers ge nerell known. The vibration dampers after the GB-PS 382 787 and according to US-PS's 21 84 734 and 22 87 866 However, the springs used serve the exclusive purpose also as a buffer to prevent metallic loading possibility to touch or centering the to give pendulum mass influenced by them. Here it seems conceivable that these feathers also occasionally Affect the vibration behavior of the pendulum mass, whereby but nowhere is we talking about one specifically with those larger vibration amplitudes of the pendulum mass influencing, so that one with the area of the small NEN vibration amplitudes practically unchanged to be able to maintain the natural natural oscillation frequency.
Es zeigtAn embodiment of the vibration according to the invention damper is shown schematically in the drawing and is explained in more detail below. It shows

Fig. 3 shows a further sectional view of the vibration damper according to the line III-III in FIG. 1.
In accordance with the designed for a damping of torsional vibrations of the second order crankshaft of an internal combustion engine embodiment according to the main patent, the vibration damper shown in the drawing is formed with a two-part holding bracket 40 , which acts as a carrier of a pendulum mass, the crankshaft 42 of the internal combustion engine Spanned in a U-shape. The crankshaft 42 is hen on each for arranging such a support for a Pendelmas se cheek with a flattened 46 verses, to which a welded to the relevant support ter holding block 48 is screwed by means of a cap screw 50 . Additional cap screws 52 result in an additional fixing of the support also on the side flanks of the respective crank web.
For a damping compensation of torsional vibrations of the second order, the pendulum mass is formed with three identical bifilar pendulum bodies 54 , which are supported on a radial outer position of the carrier 40 for a floating and, depending on the oscillation pulses of the crankshaft, an oscillating arrangement by rolling elements 56 . The on each pendulum 54 arranged in pairs rolling body 56 are in tracks 58 of the respective Pendelkör pers and tracks 60 of a respective associated support body 62 movable on the carrier 40 , the two tracks 58 , 60 of each rolling body 56 result in arcuate sections of contour holes that are formed on the support bodies 62 of the carrier 40 and on the pendulum bodies 54 with an overlapped arrangement. Each rolling element 56 is also provided at its axial ends with a thin flange 64 , which is intended to prevent contact with the side walls of the carrier 40 or an oblique alignment of the rolling element axes.
The tracks 58 , 60 for the rolling elements 56 are shaped such that with the small vibration amplitudes of the pendulum bodies formed with the pendulum 54 , a tautochronous pendulum movement is obtained, so that, as with the vibration damper according to the main patent, one with the excitation frequency of the crankshaft 42 to obtain a matching natural pendulum frequency. The predetermined range with the radii for the tracks 58 , 60 of these small oscillation amplitudes of the pendulum mass can be expanded with respect to their zero position to approximately ± 30 ° of the relative oscillation position, with a subsequent rapid reduction of the radii, for example from a relative one Vibration position of about ± 40 ° to get a by the tracks pro gressively influenced tune the pendulum frequency in the then relevant range of the larger vibration amplitudes of the pendulum mass.
This, with the shape of the tracks 58 , 60 for the rolling elements 56 , overshoots the pendulum frequency is, on the other hand, already intended from the range of approximately ± 30 ° of the relative oscillation position of the pendulum mass with the provision of a spring arrangement 66 which is suitable for one of the larger oscillation amplitudes of the pendulum mass dependent linear or progressive load change is formed. To support each pendulum 54 on the crankshaft 42 each provided Federanord voltage 66 is provided with a spring constant, so that analog to the explanation for the vibration behavior of the vibration damper according to the main patent while maintaining the tautochronous pendulum movement at the small vibration amplitudes of the pendulum mass to Larger vibration amplitudes from a range of about ± 40 ° of the relative vibration position of an embodiment of the vibration damper considered here, a progressive tuning of the pendulum frequency is achieved. The spring assemblies 66 thus result in the larger vibration amplitudes of the pendulum mass a similar progressive reduction in their response to the Erregerfre frequency of the crankshaft 42 as it is with the vibration damper according to the main patent for the influence of the shape of the tracks for the rolling elements on the course of the characteristic E was explained in more detail. The spring assemblies 66 are, however, more advantageous in that the linear or progressive change in load with which they are intended is much more sensitive and, in any case, can be adapted to the oscillation amplitudes of the pendulum mass with a lower cost, which is selected outside the tautochronous pendulum movement for an unchanged retention of their natural pendulum frequency are. The spring assemblies 66 can be realized either with compression springs or with Kis sen made of an elastomeric plastic, in both cases the spring constant or the inherent elasticity of the plastic can be predetermined such that an optimal vibration damping for everyone at the cure an internal combustion engine in Appearance occurring excitation frequencies can be achieved. Finally, it can be added that the influence of these spring arrangements on the vibration damping is not auto matically independent of the machine speed, as is required for the basic tuning of the pendulum mass. The spring assemblies can therefore in principle also have such a training that they result in a stronger tuning with respect to the excitation frequency of the crankshaft, for example at the lower engine speeds than at the higher engine speeds, while the basic tuning of the pendulum mass is set to a value at which the influence of the spring arrangement on the tuning of the Pendelfre frequency is reduced or switched off. With a fundamental agreement in influencing the vibration behavior of the pendulum mass is therefore obtained with the Federan orders 66 compared to the generic vibration damper according to the main patent, a relatively large degree of freedom for optimal design of a smooth running of the engine of a motor vehicle.
