Demgegenüber besteht die Erfindung darin, daß man eine elektrische Heizplatte mit polierfähiger Oberfläche ohne äußere Metallblechverkleidung erhält, wenn man zur Anfertigung der Heizplatte eine Kunststeinmasse (Terrazzo), die aus Zement mit Zusätzen von Marmor o. dgl. besteht, verwendet und diese Masse so in die Form eingießt, daß die Masse *5 durch das Innere der in die Form eingelegten und dort gegebenenfalls befestigten Widerstandsdrahtspiralen eintritt. Dadurch wird der Vorteil erreicht, daß mit Sicherheit ieder Teil derDrahtspiralevon der Kunststeinmasse dicht umgeben wird, so daß der Draht gegen die eine Oxydation der Drähte herbeiführende Außenluft völlig abgeschlossen ist und eine gute Wärmeübertragung von den Widerstandsdrähten auf die Steinmasse gewährleistet wird.The well-known electric heating plates, in which the heating coils are embedded in cement are, have a rough surface, which is still provided with a metal cladding must be if one wants to obtain a device suitable for use.
