Description
Device for supplying pressure medium for cleaning filter surfaces. It is known to clean filter surfaces by forcing a pressurized gas through them in countercurrent; the gases (called purge gases) removed for this purpose after the filtration must be rewarmed due to the condensation of the water vapors contained in the gases in order to avoid contamination or clogging of the filters. In order to enable dry filtration of water-saturated gases, these must be kept at a temperature above the dew point of the gases. According to the present invention, the heat of the raw gases is used to keep the purge gases at the same temperature and thus a separate reheating of the same is saved. Inventor arranges a special feed channel in the raw gas space of the filter vessel; due to its large dimensions, the purge gases are exposed to the temperature of the raw gases for a longer period of time. The feed channel is covered by steel belts, which also serve as a tension belt for moving the cleaning device back and forth. Fig. I of the drawing shows an exemplary embodiment in vertical section, a is the filter vessel, b the raw gas space, c the clean gas space, d are filter surfaces, e is the exhaustor, which sucks in gas from the clean gas space and presses it directly into the supply channel f, from which it gets into the cleaning device.
Fig. Z shows a horizontal section, s are the steel strips, which on the rollers i on or. to be unwound and so the back and forth movement the cleaning device cause. Fig. 3 shows an embodiment with both sides arranged filter surfaces. Fig.q. shows an embodiment with filter surfaces on one side of the clean gas room.
